Where do I enter the festival?
The entry point for the festival is at the bottom of South Main Street where East/West Blvd intersects. The line will form down the Boulevard in the parking lot behind the Burnsville Town Center. Follow “Festival Parking” signs to park across the street in the Roses parking lot, or in the Burnsville Town Center parking lot on East/West Blvd.
Are you selling designated driver tickets?
Individuals 16+ can enter the festival with purchase of a Designated Driver ticket, available for purchase the day of the festival at the entry gate for $10 – these will be cash-only sales.
Are children allowed to attend? What about dogs?
Children are welcomed with an accompanying adult, but please leave your four-legged friends at home for the evening.
Will there be anything available besides beer?
There is one cidery attending the festival (Botanist & Barrel of Cedar Grove, NC). We will have water available in a central location of the festival. Food vendors will have additional beverages available for purchase.
What happens if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event! We have a contingency plan for the event of rain, in which case the festival layout would be rearranged. If that is the case, do still plan to face the rain to get your samples of beer – it will be well worth it!
What can we bring in?
We are providing some seating, but you might choose to bring your own lawn chair. Since we are providing a variety of food and (non-alcoholic)
beverages for sale within the festival, no outside food or drinks are allowed. There will be bottled water available for sale at the Tokens & Water tent, in addition to water jugs at each brewery station and drinks for sale from the food vendors. Absolutely no weapons allowed.
What about transportation?
We want everyone to enjoy the festival and get home safely. We have
arranged for Uber drivers to be available in Burnsville during the peak hours that people would need transportation. We suggest that attendees download the app in advance of the festival.
Where could I locate a first aid kit?
For minor first aid needs, please come to the Token and Water Booth
centrally located in the festival (in the middle of South Main St., near the walkway to enter the Nu Wray Inn courtyard). Please come to this location for assistance with any emergency situation, notifying the Homeplace staff or TRACTOR volunteers immediately.
