Homeplace Family,
A few weeks back…December has been full of movement with transporting our brewing system down to our new location, installing a walk-in cooler for 20 taps and building out our taproom bar and kitchen! We are so thankful for all the great folks working with us and helping us to make this big project a reality. As we start wiring and plumbing everything back we wanted to share a few pics of the move and expansion!
If you have visited us in the past few weeks at South Main, you may have heard some loud construction sounds, seen us dusting in the taproom every day, or glanced through the glass door into the brewery and noticed a missing brewhouse. It was quite a project to temporarily open our back wall to facilitate moving the tanks 792 feet down the road.
Over time this move and expansion will allow us to double our brewing capacity from 600 barrels annually to 1200-1500 barrels. We are adding 4 fermenters and will eventually purchase an automated canning line. These expansion will facilitate a greater reach of our packaged beer, of both kegs and cans.
We can’t wait to open up this space to the community and begin 2020 with a slew of special events, great beer and food. As we look into next year we can finally see the finish line and hope to open our doors at 321 West Main in early 2020. Stay tuned for more pictures coming soon of the kitchen, taproom and separate event space!
